Ryan Neil wurde 1981 in Colorado, USA, geboren und wuchs dort an den westlichen Hängen der Rocky Mountains auf. Die fantastischen Bäume dieser Landschaft lösten eine große Vorliebe für Bäume in ihm aus. Er studierte Gartenbau am College und ging nach seinem Abschluss für sechs Jahre bei Bonsai-Meister Masahiko Kimura in die Lehre. Anschließend ließ er sich im Jahr 2010 in Portland, Oregon, nieder und baute dort seinen Bonsai-Betrieb „Bonsai Mirai“ auf. Ryan Neil was born in Colorado, USA, in 1981 and grew up there, on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains. The fantastic trees in that landscape instilled a deep appreciation for trees. He studied horticulture in college and, after graduation, spent six years apprenticing for bonsai master Masahiko Kimura. In 2010, after completing his apprenticeship, he settled in Portland, Oregon, to build up his bonsai business “Bonsai Mirai“. Ryan Neil is a very popular bonsai teacher and valued demonstrator everywhere in the world and has successfully established his online bonsai school “Mirai Live”.
